Arizona Karate School Presented National & International Martial Arts Awards

Karate students and faculty training in kata (forms) at the Arizona School of Traditional Karate, Mesa, Arizona

The Arizona School of Traditional Karate is no stranger to awards - the martial arts school and its owner has been presented a handful of Internet Awards; the precursor of the school - the University of Wyoming Campus Shorin-Ryu Karate and Kobudo Club was awarded Juko Kai International's Top Martial Arts School of 1999; and the owner and head Instructor has been inducted into several Halls-of-Fame for his teaching and martial arts abilities.

Awarded the 2004 Instructor of the Year by the American Karate Association Hall-of-Fame, the 2001 International Instructor of the Year by the North American Black Belt Hall-of-Fame, and also the Grandmaster of the Year by Juko Kai International (2000), World Martial Arts Hall-of-Fame (2002), Latin America Martial Arts Society Worldwide Hall-of-Fame (2003); and the World Martial Arts Black Belt Hall-of-Fame (2005),

And we were very excited to see our Arizona Martial Arts blog was selected for international distinction and presented the KARATE AWARD. In addition to our selection of our martial arts blog, our school in Mesa Arizona was selected as the Best Martial Arts School in Mesa Arizona and our Hombu (world headquarters) was also selected as the Best in Mesa, Arizona.

In addition to receiving these distinctions, our school, instructors and students continued to show great distinction on the national and international stage. At the Juko Kai International Clinic in New Braumfels, Texas, our head instructor and grandmaster was presented with one of the highest honors in martial arts when awarded Meijin Wajutsu by Dai-Soke Sacharnoski. One of our students, Ryan Nemec was also awarded Male Martial Arts Student of the Year - a great honor for any student.

Our headmaster and grandmaster of Seiyo Kai Shorin-Ryu Karate and Kobudo, Soke Hausel, had already been presented Marquis Who's Who in America 2013 and 2014 and also Who's Who in the World 2013 and 2014 for his contributions to martial arts. Soke Hausel was also awarded as Professor of Martial Arts by a German Martial Arts Association in 2013.
